Macedon, Kingdom of, Philip III, (323-316 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.13 g), Babylon Mint, issued c.323-317 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin, rev. Zeus seated on throne to left, eagle in outstretched hand, M to left, **LU* below throne, to right **FILIPPO[U]*, below **[BA]SILE[ES]*, (cf.S.6749, Price P181, BMC P181a-f, M.P99). Lightly toned, very fine and scarce.
