Thrace, Kings of, Lysimachos. (305-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.71 g), Lampsakos mint, struck 297/6-282/1 B.C., obv. diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon, rev. Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, spear behind, to inner left, KA monogram above crescent, to right **BASILEWS*, to left **LUSIMAXOU*, (S.6814, Thompson 60; M.396; SNG France 2545, Weber 2725 similar dies, HGC 3.2 1750b). Toned, extremely fine with minor surface pitting, rare with these symbols.
