Italy, Campania, Neapolis (Naples), (c.340-300 B.C.), silver nomos, stater or didrachm, (7.12 g), obv. head of nymph to right, bunch of grapes behind, AP monogram before, rev. man-headed bull walking to right, crowned by Nike flying right, below **P*, below exergue [NEOPOLITWN], (cf.S.307, Sambon 473, SNG ANS 365-6, See Rutter p84, Foggia Hoard 42-43). Lightly toned, minor porosity, banker's mark on neck, good very fine.
