MN. CORDIUS RUFUS, (46 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.996 grams), obv. conjoined laureate heads of the Dioscuri to right, each surmounted by a star, RVFVS III VIR below and behind, rev. Venus Verticordia standing left, holding scales and sceptre, Cupid on her shoulder, MN CORD[IVS] behind, (S.440, Cr.463/1a, Syd.976c, B.Cordia 2a [£50]). Off centred reverse, light grey patina, otherwise very fine and very scarce.
