SYRIA, Seleucia and Pieria, Emesa, Macrinus (A.D. 217-218), silver tetradrachm, (10.17 g), issued 217-8, obv. laureate head of Macrinus to right, around [AVT K M *OP* CE] MAKPINOC C, rev. eagle standing facing, head to left, wreath in beak, between legs radiate bust of Helios, around **DHMARC EX UPATO*C **PP*, (cf.S.2947, Prieur 961?). Toned, traces of hoard patination, extremely fine and rare.
