CILICIA, Mallos, pseudo-autonomous issue under Hostilian, (c.250 A.D.), AE 30, (13.02 g), obv. radiate, draped, cuirassed bust of Hostilian right, around S VALEN OSTIL MES QVINTVM C, Tyche seated left on rocky outcropping between two vexilla inscribed S C, at feet, two river-gods swimming in opposite directions, around MALLO COLONIA, (S.4300, SNG Levante 1297, SNG Von Aulock 5727). Deep brown toning, scrapes on obverse and reverse, fine and rare.
