PISIDIA, Sagalassus, Claudius II Gothicus, (A.D. 268-270), AE 10 assaria, (17.10 g), obv. laureate draped and cuirassed bust of Claudius II to right, eagle countermark below, around AY K M AY**R* K**LAYDION*, rev. Lion standing left, holding spear in jaws, around **CAGALACCEWN*, (cf.S.4738, SNG Paris 1870-1871 (same dies), SNG von Aulock 5219-5221 (same dies), MFA 63.1239). Deep green toning, very fine and very rare.
