Dennis R. Sawyer, R. Aust. Inf. on first medal, 3/11194 D.R.U. Sawyer on second and third medals, 3/11194 D.R.Sawyer. on fourth medal, 311194 D.R.Sawyer on fifth to eighth medals. The first and last medals engraved, all other medals impressed. Display mounted, some medals with contact marks, otherwise fine - very fine.

Together with Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm Unit Citation as awarded to 8RAR, 1st Australian Task Force.

Dennis Richard Sawyer, born 17Feb1931 at Dorking, Surrey, England; Enl.26Aug1952; served in Korea as Private with 3RAR 12Jul1953 to 04Jul1954; served in Vietnam as Staff Sgt with 8RAR 19Nov1969 to 25Jun1970; also served in Malaya, Malaya Peninsula and Borneo; Disch.25Aug1970 as Quarter Master Sergeant.

With copy of Certificate of Discharge, also some original and copy papers relating to the award of the BEM and other research as well as the case for the BEM.
