Frederick John Lenihan, railway employee (station master), age 33, born at Dalby, Qld; Enl.16Feb1915 at Nanango, Qld; Emb.12Jun1915; to Gallipoli and TOS 9Bn 04Aug1915; 17Oct1915 to 05Jan1916 to hospital with piles, then measles and then enteric; invalided to Aust 20Jan1916 loss of vision in left eye; to recruiting Depot 01Nov1917; to Railway Unit 01Nov1917 as Sgt; Re-Emb.22Dec1917; various postings and promoted to CSM until invalided to Aust 18Jan1919 and discharged Medically Unfit.
