COS III around, Pietas standing left, sacrificing over a lighted altar, & holding a cornucopaie, (S.3476, RIC 173, RSC 335) (illustrated); Marcus Aurelius, as Caesar, (A.D. 161-180), (3.26 g), rev. Minerva walking right, brandishing javelin and holding shield, (S.4797, RIC 483); Septimius Severus, (A.D. 193-211), (2.46 g), rev. Genius naked left with altar, (cf.S.6335, RIC 87, RSC 436); (3.43 g), Fortuna seated left, holding rudder and cornucopiae, (S.6277, RIC 379, RSC 173a); Elagabalus, (A.D. 218-222), (2.80 g), rev. Elagabalus in priestly robes standing left, sacrificing over altar, behind which is sacred bull and holding branch, (S.7518, RIC 88, RSC 62). Fine - nearly very fine. (5)
