Fausta, daughter of Maximianus and wife of Constantine, issued A.D. 326, follis, Nicomedia Mint, (3.21 g), obv. mantled, bare-headed bust right, wearing necklace, around FLAV MAX FAVSTA AVG, rev. Spes standing facing, looking left, head veiled, two children in her arms, around, SPES REIP VBLICAE, in exergue N **L*, (S.16576, RIC 150) (illustrated); another, Trier Mint, (S.16560, RIC 484). Toning, nearly very fine - nearly extremely fine and very scarce. (2)
