South western Britain, uninscribed issue, Durotriges tribal issues, Chute type, (c.65-58 B.C.), pale gold stater, (6.0 grams), obv. abstracted head of Apollo to right, rev. Celticized disjointed horse to left, crab below horse, (S.20, Mack Sylloge 32, Van A. 1205-5 notes as common). Very fine.
