Henry V, (1413-1422), silver half groat, light coinage, class G, London Mint, mintmark pierced cross, (1.79 g), obv. crowned bust facing, hollowed neck and armpits, tall crown with five circular hollows on band, tressure of 11 arcs, top cusps not fleured, initial cross with pellet centre, saltire stops HENRIC DI GRA REX ANGL Z F around, rev. long cross pattee voided by quatrefoil dividing the legend, saltire stops in outer legend only, trefoil of pellets (circular and separated) in each angle, POSVI DEV ADITORE ME CIVITAS LONDON around, (S.1775, N.1473). Toned, lightly clipped, fine and scarce.
