Henry II, (1154-1189), silver cut half penny, short cross type, class Ia4, London Mint, moneyer Randul, (0.69 g), obv. bust facing, crowned and with sceptre in right hand, +HENRI [REX] around rev. short cross voided with quatrefoil in each angle, X with serifs, no square letters, N with 4 serifs, C and E with half moons, +RAN LVN around, (S.1343A, N962). Toned, round and well centred, fine and scarce.
