Henry I, (1066-1087), silver penny, quadrilateral on cross fleury type, London Mint, moneyer Wulfgar, (1.41 g), obv. armoured bust facing crowned and diademed breaking through beaded inner circle, head three quarters left, sceptre in right hand, +HENRICVS around, rev. quadrilateral with incurved sides and pellets within, lis at each angle over cross fleury, within beaded inner circle, +PVLFGAR ON LVNDI: around, (S.1276, N.871, BMC xv). Toned, areas of flat striking, nearly very fine and scarce with a portrait of this quality.
