Viking Coinage of Danish East Anglia, (885-915 A.D.), silver penny, St Eadmund memorial coinage, Ipswich Mint?, moneyer Daegmund, (1.45 g), obv. barred A (alpha) with trefoil of pellets on each side, within solid inner circle, legend +SC E EADMVND RE around, rev. small cross in centre, around +DAIEMOND MONETA, (S.960, N.483, BMC -). Toned, very fine or better and rare.

Edward Hawkins in the Numismatic Chronicle Volume 5 (1842/43) noted that there were 1770 St Eadmund Memorial type coins in the Cuerdale (Lancashire) Hoard of 1840. With tickets.
