Indo-Persian khanjar dagger, 19th century, double edged steel blade (length 23cm), the blade with five holed strips down the centre and three holed strips in the ricasso area, some of these holed strips contain small ball bearings, with gold overlaid floral decorated parrot's head handle. Blade is a modern copy, a few small oxidation spots on the blade and the tip is blunt, some gilt missing from handle, otherwise very good and unusual.
