Faustina Senior, wife of Antoninus Pius, (died A.D.141), silver denarius, (3.07 g), issued after 147, Rome Mint, obv. draped bust to right of Faustina, around DIVA FAV STINA, rev. Aeternitas standing facing raising right hand, holding sceptre in her left hand, around AETERNITAS, (cf.S.4574, BMC 345, RIC 344, RSC 26); another similar (2.96 g), rev. as above, Juno with extended arm and holding vertical sceptre, (S.4574, RIC 351, BMC 373, RSC 32); another similar (3.28 g), rev. Ceres standing facing head right, holding long sceptre and grain ears, around AVGVSTA, (S.4582, RIC 358, RSC 93). Coins mostly nearly very fine, all illustrated. (3)
