Faustina Senior, wife of Antoninus Pius, (died A.D.141), silver denarius, (3.07 g), issued after 147, Rome Mint, obv. draped bust to right of Faustina, around DIVA FAV STINA, rev. Juno standing left, raising right hand and holding sceptre in left hand around, AETERNITAS, (S.4574, BMC 345, RIC 344, RSC 26); another similar (2.99 g), rev. Ceres standing left holding long torch and drapery, AVG VSTA around, (S.4584, RIC 362, RSC 104). Very fine or better, both illustrated. (2)
