Sasanian King, Shapur II, (A.D. 309-379), silver drachm, (4.28 g), obv. bust to right with mural crown with korymbos, name in outer margin, rev. fire altar with bust above turning right, flanked by two attendants. (Sellwood 32, Gobl 106 type 1a/6b (Pl.6), SNS 210 (Pl.19), M.879-882). Lightly toned, Fine/very fine, scarce.
