Sasanian King, Shapur II, (A.D. 309-379), silver drachm, (4.25 g), "Kabul" mint ?, obv. bust to right with mural crown with korymbos, name in outer margin, rev. fire altar with bust above turning right, flanked by two attendants. (Sellwood 32, cf.Gobl 95 type 1b/2 (Pl.6), SNS 258 [Pl.23]). Toned, struck on a broad flan, nearly very fine/nearly fine, scarce.
