Sasanian King, Narseh, (A.D.293-302/3), silver drachm, (3.67 g), obv. bust to right with radiate crown, globe above, with no ear flap, rev. fire altar flanked with attendants, fravahr symbol on altar shaft, (cf.Sellwood Plate III, No.25 (Vahran III), Gobl type II/2, 74 (Pl.5), SNS 173 [Pl.16] type II/5c). Very fine and rare.
