World War II, Commonwealth of Australia, War Savings Certificate, Seven Years Series, small size, one pound, BC273338, issued 1 September 1944, payable 1st September 1951, issued at The Queensland National Bank, Brisbane, with signature of S.G.McFarlane, Secretary to the Treasury (MVR WE1a); Commonwealth of Australia, War Savings Stamps card issued to Mr Evans of Frankston, Vic, with 13x6d stamps affixed, at bottom of card is printed, 'Don't be an Onlooker - Be in the Fight'; another different type 6d War Savings Stamps card, no owner's name, with 11x6d stamps affixed, at bottom of card is printed, 'Every stamp stuck on is another nail in the Axis coffin!'. Stain at bottom left corner of the first item and foxing on last item, otherwise fine - very fine. (3)
