Description
India, Mughal, Shah Jahan (A.H. 1037-1068, A.D. 1628-1658), silver rupee, (11.53 g), Surat mint, within squares both sides, dated AH 1050 (1640-1), RY 13 (KM.235.23); another different variety from Surat mint, but legend across on both sides, (11.45 g), RY 1, AH 1037 (1628), with "raj" at top, (KM.221.1). Very fine, second coin extremely fine, both in collector's descriptive flips. (2)
