WWII, trench art ashtray, crafted from the base of a 25 pounds artillery shell, chromed and carved on the base is, '25P/LJI/2228/RLB/E71 (with two arrows, one up one down)/1941/?F', around the side is stippled engraved, 'A I F / EGYPT / 1942', in the centre of the ashtray is a white metal kangaroo. Very fine.
