2623 Victor Jacob Jacobsen, labourer, age 18, born at Clifton, Qld; Enl.03Aug1915 at Toowoomba, Qld; Emb.21Oct1915; TOS 12Bn 01Mar1916 at Zeitoun; to France 05Apr1916; MIA 23-26Jul1916, France; revised to KIA 23-26Jul1916, France; Buried at Sunken Road Cemetery near Pozieres, France - recorded as son of Martin and Kate Jacobsen of Maclagan, Queensland; as actual grave site unknown, a 'Special' Collective Memorial Cross was erected at the Pozieres British Cemetery.
