12th Regiment of Foot, Albert pattern shako plate, in brass (ht 12mmx71mm). Missing lugs, otherwise very fine.
The 12th Regiment of Foot served in Australia 1854-1862. They were at the Eureka rebellion and Lambing Flats riots. The Albert pattern shako was in use 1854-1862.
