Family Group: (Father) Pair: War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45. 115169 E.H.Mortlock. Impressed.; (Son) Trio: Australian Active Service Medal 1945-1975, - clasp - Vietnam (copy-see note); Vietnam Medal 1964-1973; Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, - clasp - 1960-. First and last medals unnamed, 4719951 D.M.Mortlock on second medal. The named medal impressed. Both groups court mounted, both with contact marks, otherwise good very fine.
Note: The Australian Active Service Medal 1945-1975 was instituted in 1997 after this group was purchased and the vendor has added the copy. The original has probably never been claimed.
(Father) Eric Henery Mortlock, born 19Aug1920 at Port Augusta, Sth Aust; Enl.21Jul1942 at Adelaide, Sth Aust in RAAF; Disch.10Aug1945 as Leading Aircraftman ex 5 Repair and Servicing Unit.
(Son) Dean Michael Mortlock, born 25Oct1947 at Port Augusta, Sth Aust; National Service as a Private in Royal Aust Army Service Corps; served in Vietnam with 86 Transport Platoon RAASC 27Mar1969 - 25Mar1970.
