Singles: 1939-45 Star. 165749 B S Furner. Impressed.; Australia Service Medal 1939-45. 437204 R.D.Armitage. Impressed. Two single medals, both without ribbons, the first medal extremely fine, the second medal with spotty toning, otherwise very fine.
Together with two RAAF Certificate of Service and Discharge documents, one for 165749 Albert Turner, LAC (cook), born 05Nov1918, Enl.12Sep1944 and Disch.09May1946; the other for 165749 Bert Stanford Furner, LAC (cook), born 05Nov1918, Enl.15Aug1946 and Disch.12Jan1949. It appears that the first certificate has his surname spelt incorrectly. The above medal is recorded on the second certificate as his only entitlement. There is also an Army Special Reserve Certificate of Discharge for 2/900036 Pte Albert Stanford Furner, born 05Nov1918, Enl.26Jan1951 and Disch.10Mar1954. Also included is a work reference dated 06Jan1955.
