Divus Carus, billon antoninianus, Antioch mint, issued (282-283 A.D.), (3.19 g), obv. DIVO CARO AVG, radiate head to right of Carus, rev. CONSECRATIO, lighted altar with wreath across the altar, **D* in right field, XXI in exergue, (S.-, RIC V.2 127, C.21). Uneven patination, some silvering, extremely fine very rare type.
