Philip I, (A.D. 244-249), silver antoninianius, Rome mint, issued 245-7, (4.14 g), obv. IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG, radiate draped bust to right, rev. Roma seated left, holding Victory and spear, shield at side, around ROMAE AETERNAE, (S.8952, RIC 44b, RSC 169). Bright, extremely fine/nearly extremely fine, scarce.
