Sabina, wife of Hadrian, (117-136/7 A.D.), silver denarius, issued 129 A.D. (Hill), Rome Mint, (3.30 g), obv. diademed draped bust to right, of Sabina with hair in queue down back, SABINA AVGVSTA around, Rev. CONCORDIA AVG around, Concordia seated to left on throne, holding patera in right hand and sceptre in left hand, (S.3919, RIC 398, RSC 12); Faustina Senior, wife of Antoninus Pius, (died A.D.141), silver denarius, (3.55 g), issued 147, Rome mint, obv. draped bust to right of Faustina, around DIVA FAVSTINA, rev. Ceres standing to left holding sceptre and corn ears, around AVGVSTA, (S.4582, BMC 408, RIC 360, RSC 78). First with some surface pitting and cleaning, second toned, very fine, both scarce. (2)
