Trajan, (A.D.98-117), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued 116, (27.27 grams), obv. laureate draped bust of Trajan to right, around IMP CAES NER TRAIANO OPTIMO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS VI P P, rev. Fortuna seated to left holding rudder and cornucopiae, around SENATVS POPVLVSQVE ROMANVS, FORT RED over S C in exergue, (S.3193, RIC 652, C.158, BMC 1026). Attractive dark green patina, weak on parts of the legend, nearly extremely fine/good very fine and rare in this condition.
