Domitian, (90-91 A.D.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.42 g), issued in 90-91 B.C., obv. laureate head of Domitian to right around IMP CAES DOMIT [AVG] GERM P M TR P X, rev. IMP XXI COS XV CENS P P P, Minerva advancing to right holding shield and javelin, (cf.S.2729, RIC 152, RSC 265) (illustrated); Vespasian, (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, Rome mint, issue of A.D. 77-78, (3.13 g), obv. CAESAR VESPASIANVS AV[G], laureate head to right, rev. [IMP X]IX in exergue, sow to left with three young piglets, (S.2292, RIC 982, RSC 213). Toning, nearly very fine - good very fine. (2)
