Sberbank is the largest bank in Russia, Central and Eastern Europe, and one of the leading financial institutions worldwide. The issues for Ukraine were consumer cards as coupons and were not legal tender on their own but were required to be used in conjunction with Russian roubles to become money in the Ukraine.
