Description
China, forgeries, silver one dollar (cf.K-663a), (26.67g) (39.61mm). This coin does not have the characteristics of a pattern and Giorgi's signature is a notch lower than on all of the certified examples sighted, it seems to have been struck with the same dies that were used for the business-strike dollar of this type, with Giorgi's signature simply added to the obverse die, toned nearly uncirculated.
