1887 Proof Shilling, Victoria, 1837-1901. S-3925, ESC-3138, Davies 982 (R). 5.63g. Obverse - Joachim E. Boehm's small Jubilee bust with small crown and veil, J.E.B. on truncation. Reverse - Square topped crowned shield within garter, the crown breaks through the garter. The loop on the Q in QUI (garter inscription) has a curved looped tail. Early strike as no die break present through date. Attractively toned, FDC and rare.
