1887 Proof Shilling, Victoria, 1837-1901. S-3925, ESC-3138, Davies 982 (R). 5.68g. Obverse - Joachim E. Boehm's small Jubilee bust with small crown and veil, J.E.B. on truncation. Reverse - Square topped crowned shield within the garter, the crown breaks through the garter. The loop on the Q in QUI (garter inscription) has a curved, looped tail. Die break present through date. Except for the obverse fields, a beautifully toned brilliant proof, FDC and rare.
