1839 Proof Half Crown, Victoria, 1837-1901. S-3885, ESC-2708, Davies-560. (S) 14.01g. Obverse - W.W. in relief on truncation; ribbons in hair comprise one ornate in front of the second plain fillet. Reverse - similar to the sovereign struck in coin alignment. Gunmetal grey tone, vertical hairline under chin, otherwise virtually FDC and scarce.
