1831 Proof Maundy Set, William IV, 1830-37. S-3840; ESC-2548; Davies-420. Fourpence to Penny in Silver (4 coins) 4d 1.88g, 3d 1.39g, 2d 0.94g and 1d 0.47g. Reverse - Crowned numeral with central date split on either side. This plain design is within a wreath formed solely by oak branches tied with a ribbon below. Attractive dark blue grey brilliance, FDC and rare. (4)
