World medals, includes China, People's Republic, Jia Yu Pass commemorative medal in darkened bronze (59mm), features the frontier fortress at the west end of the Great Wall; The Japan Rose Society, The Japan Rose Concours, uniface prize medal in bright bronze (50mm), reverse impressed, '1976/(name in Japanese text)'; Yugoslavia, Embassy medal in silvered bronze (65mm), obverse, emblem of Yugoslavia 29.XI.1943, reverse, image of the Yugoslavian Parliament building, above this at the left is inscribed, 'K.J.' and at the right, 'J.A.', together with a note, 'Embassy of the S.F.R. (Socialist Federal Republic) of Yugoslavia, Mr Kreso Jakic (K.J. as inscribed on medal), President, Wellington Yugoslav Club, and signed by Vojislav Savin, Charge d-Affaires a.1.'. All in cases, very fine - uncirculated. (3)

Mr Vojislav Savin was Third Secretary of the Yugoslav Embassy in Washington, USA in 1968. The Wellington Yugoslav Club in New Zealand started in 1938 and in the 1990s, when a civil war started in Yugoslavia, the name was changed to the Dalmatian Club and then in 1996 it became the Croatian Cultural Society.
