Jade jewellery pieces, includes coin-like (28mm) jade pendant with centre hole (2); carved jade pendant with suspension hole at top (15x37mm); flat-backed oval jade pieces for fitting to ring or pendant (2, 10x14mm and 5x8mm); jade irregular shaped drop pendant (6x10mm), with suspension ring; flat-backed oval polished orange stone for fitting to ring or pendant (12x20mm); small (20mm long) tortoises carved from shell, each with suspension hole at base of neck (2). Uncirculated. (9)

For the Chinese the tortoise is sacred and symbolises longevity, power and tenacity.
