Basil enthroned facing, traces of legend, rev. legend in four lines, (S.1709, DOC 12, BMC 8-10, R.1851); another with Constantine, issued 868-870, uncertain provincial mint, (5.40 g), obv. two busts facing Basil and Constantine, rev. five lines of legend, (S.1721, DOC 8, BMC 11-16, R.1861). Leo VI the Wise, (A.D. 886-912), AE folles, Constantinople mint, (7.03 g), obv. Leo VI bust facing, around +LEON bASILEVS ROM', rev. legend in four lines +LEON/EN **W*EO bA/SILEVS R/OMEON in four lines, (S.1729, DOC 8, BMC 8-10, R.1873); Romanus I, (A.D. 920-944), AE folles, Constantinople mint, (4.03 g), obv. Romanus I bust facing, legend around, holding labarum transversely and cross on globe, rev. four lined legend, naming Romanus as king of the Romans, (S.1760, DOC 25, BMC 14-29); together with Isaac II, (1185-1195), billon aspron trachy, (S.2003); Alexius III, billon aspron trachy (S.2013). Fine - very fine, first with flan crack, second and third cleaned and toned. (7)
