Hadrian, (A.D. 117-138), AE dupondius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 124, (13.84 g), obv. radiate bust of Hadrian to right, around IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG P M [TR P COS] III, rev. PIETAS A[VGVS]TI, S C to left and right, Pietas standing to right, hand raised, holding box of incense in left hand, altar at feet, (S.3665, RIC II.3, 475 [601c], C.1044, BMC 1231). Deep dark green patina, edge split, otherwise good very fine and rare.
