Vespasian, (A.D. 69-79), AE sestertius, Rome Mint, issued 71 A.D., (23.03 g), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to right, around IMP CAES VESPASIAN AVG P M TR P PP COS III, rev. Jew standing right and Jewess seated right under palm tree, arms to left and right, around IVDAEA CAPTA, SC in exergue, (S.2325, RIC 159, C.238). Attractive deep brown toning, nearly extremely fine and rare.
