S C across, Neptune standing to left, holding dolphin and trident, (S.1812, RIC 58 (Caligula), C.3); Claudius (A.D. 41-54), AE as, Rome mint type, issued 41-42, (9.42 g), obv. bare head to left, around TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG P M TR P IMP, rev. Minerva to right, helmeted and draped, hurling javelin and holding shield, SC in field, (S.1861, RIC 100, BMC 149, C.84) (illustrated); Nero, (A.D. 54-68), AE dupondius, issued c.65, Rome mint, (12.08 g), obv. radiate head to right of Nero, around IMP NERO CAESAR AVG P P, rev. view of temple of Janus with latticed window to left and door on right, around traces of PACE P.R. VBIQ PARTA IANVM CLVSIT, S C across field, (cf.S.1965, RIC 362, WCN 238). Mostly fine, last with hoard patination. (3)
