Attica, Athens, (166-57 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (15.88 g), issued 158-157 B.C., (Thompson date) but probably 126-7 B.C. (revised chronology), obv. head of Athena Parthenos to right wearing triple-crested Athenian helmet, ornamented with Pegasus, rev. owl standing to right, head facing, in erect posture, on prostrate amphora, eagle right on fulmen to left, legend across **A QE, to right **EPI/GENH /SWSAN/DROS* to left **MO/SCI*, HPA below, all within wreath, (cf.S.2555, cf.Thompson 442-4). Fine, holed.
