Italy, Calabria, Taras (Tarentum), silver obol, 9mm, (0.71 g), struck 500-473 B.C., obv. scallop shell, rev. dolphin to right, (S.227, cf.Vlasto 1473, SNG ANS 1482, HN Italy 979); Illyria, Epidamnos-Dyrrhachium, (3rd-3nd century B.C.), silver drachm, (3.30 g), obv. cow standing right looking back at calf, above **XENWN*, eagle to right above, rev. double floral pattern within square, around club to left, **D[UR PUT] BA*, (cf.S.1899, BMC 112-3, Maier 351, SNG Tubingen 1458). Fine - very fine, first coin rare. (2)
