Italy, Lucania, Metapontum, (c.330-300 B.C.), silver diobol (1.22 g), obv. head of Apollo Karneios to right, rev. barley ear with leaf to right, uncertain symbol to right, (cf.S.419, cf.Johnston F6.2, HGC 1079); Italy, Lucania, Poseidonia, (c.410-350 B.C.), silver diobol, 13mm, (1.15 g), obv. Poseidon striding right, holding trident overhead; branch to lower left, rev. bull standing right, branch to right. *POMES* (S.426, HN Italy 1144, McClean 1087) (illustrated). Second coin nearly very fine, first coin fair/good fine, both scarce. (2)
