Egypt, Arsinoe II Philadelphos, (died 270/268 B.C.), gold mnaieion or oktadrachm (octodrachm), (27.86 g, Alexandria mint, struck under Ptolemy II, c.253/2 B.C., obv. head to right of Arsinoe, veiled and wearing stephane, lotus-tipped sceptre in background, K to left, rev. around **ARSINOHS FILADELFOU*, double cornucopia, grape bunches hanging at sides, bound with fillet, (S.7768, Sv.1242, cf.Olivier Group 4 3430, cf.Troxell, Arsinoe, Group 3, p.44 and pl.7, 3, SNG Cop. -, Noeske -, Bement 1834, Hirsch 1819 (same obv. die), de Luynes 3583.
